Back in November my sister moved out which meant I finally got my own bedroom. As a result, I have spent the past 6 months trying to make-over my room. I really want to turn it into a room where I can feel comfortable to relax and hang out. From what I’ve shared of my room so far on instagram, people like what I’ve done. So I thought I would share a bit more of my room on my blog!
One thing that always helps to complete a bedroom is wall art and pictures. It helps to make the room look put together, and stops the walls from looking so bare. Over the past month I have finally managed to get some gorgeous prints on the wall. Today I thought I would share them all with you today!
The first piece I have, is this Working Nine to Wine print * (£10) that I was very kindly sent by the The Card Gallery. Everybody knows I love myself some wine, so I thought this print was absolutely perfect for me. I recently reorganised my shelves and thought this would be perfect on them. I also love how perfectly it fits in with my colour scheme of grey, black and pink.
A few years ago I remember seeing a youtuber who had frames different magazine covers for wall art and I just HAD to copy it. As you can maybe see these covers are quite old now, but I do love them. I was tempted to take them down when I moved around my room recently but I decided not to because I really do love them. They are also a great, cheap way to add some wall art to your room. Though if anybody knows how I can get my hands on a copy of Kate Moss’ Playboy cover then do let me know, because I would LOVE to have it framed.
I just adore these three prints that I recently put up above my bed. All three prints are from the extremely talented Jemma’s etsy Dork Face Shop. If you are after any wall art/stickers then definitely check out Jemma’s etsy, there are so many amazing pieces to choose from. I’ve went for two watercolour prints of girls in dresses, and then the motivational quote in the middle.
Finally, on my bedside table I have this gorgeous print that I bought years ago from TK Maxx. When I bought this I ended up setting it aside and then forgetting about it, so when I finally got my own room, and bought my lovely bedside table, I thought it was time to put it on show. At the minute I just have it set on top of bedside table, and I’m undecided as to whether or not I should actually hang it on the wall. I’m a little worried it might fall and damage something the way it is, but at the same time, I think it adds a more casual appearance with it being set there. What do you all think?
I still have to add a few more pictures before my room is complete. I’m thinking of trying to use one of my walls as a place to put some personal photos, I’m just not sure how I want to do it yet. I guess it’s time to get looking on pinterest!
I hope you like this post! It’s different to the posts I normally do but I’ve really enjoyed writing it. I definitely want to do more posts on my bedroom interiors, so keep an eye out for them!
