Father’s Day Gift Guide

Father's Day Gift Guide

*This is a collaboration with Clive Christian. All words and opinions are my own.*

Does anybody else find Father’s Day to be a slightly ignored holiday? It definitely does not get the same amount of attention as Mother’s Day, or Valentines Day or even Easter. As such I’ve decided that this year I need to make sure i give my dad some extra attention. And of course, what is a holiday without a great gift? So today I have a round up of some of my favourite gift choices for fathers!

1. Clive Christian Perfumes

Clive Christian is a luxury brand, who definitely provide the best perfumes for men. There are so many to choose from, from oriental scents to woody. I know my Dad would be a big fan of the woody scents!

2. Crosley Cruiser Portable Turntable

I can’t be the only person with a dad who loves music, and dreams of their childhood where they listened to everything on vinyl? My dad has always talked about wanting a record player for years but he has never bought himself one, so this would be perfect! Especially as it has a modern touch with being able to plug in your iphone.

3. Tassimo by Bosch Machine

If your dad is a caffeine addict like mine, then a coffee machine would be a perfect addition to their kitchen. I bought my dad a tassimo machine a few years ago and he loves it- definitely a worthwhile investment!

4. Build it yourself- weekend projects for the garden

We all love to buy books for the girls in our lives, but have you ever thought to buy books for men? A lot of men like to think of themselves as DIY geniuses (even when, lets be honest, they are not.) this book will give them 12 projects they can try out.

5. Red Herring stripes and faces socks

Ah socks- the ultimate dad present. These ones are particularly funky (yep, I really just used the work funky) due to the cool face designs and bright colours.

6. Fossil black leather watch

What guy doesn’t like a watch? My dad has such a massive collection, and he shows no signs of stopping, so I just know he would love this watch, and I’m sure most other dad’s would as well!

What are you planning to buy your dad for Father’s Day?

Father’s day is definitely ignored, but i think it’s because it’s such a hard holiday to buy for – I never know what to get my dad. I’m loving your picks, I’m slightly swayed to the Bosch machine, but I know I’d be buying it for myself lol. Perfume is always a good choice too. So far all I’ve planned is to take him out for a meal, but you’ve given me some good ideas x

    • I’m not gonna lie- I bought dad the Bosch machine a few years back and it was DEFINITELY mostly for me ha. Taking him for a meal would be lovely, sometimes I think that’s nicer than a present

  • Sian…

I’m lucky that my dad is my best friend which makes him so easy to buy for! I’ve been so busy that I had forgotten that it’s Father’s Day next week! Socks are always a safe bet though!

    Sian x

    • Aww that’s sweet Sian! Me and my dad are very close but I still find him hard to buy for because he never wants anything ha. Though I normally can’t go wrong with something for the kitchen…

    • I’ll be honest, even after doing this gift guide I don’t know what to get my dad (though I do think I have an idea), he’s just so hard to buy for. Thanks for reading 🙂

  • Oooo great gift guide. Whenever I ask dad what he would like he says a new shirt… done that the last 10 years for birthday Christmas and Father’s Day 😂😂 but this year he shocked me and said a sun lounger 😳😳 xxxxxxx

    • Ooh he’s got adventurous this year! My dad always says he doesn’t know what he wants which is so annoying as you can imagine ha.

I’ve never heard of the brand Clive Christian but it sounds great! I bought my dad some cycling gear xx

  • Aw nooooo, I didn’t see this in time for Fathers Day, I was struggling as well! Ended up doing a late night Tesco run at 11pm on Saturday night ready for Sunday and ended up with some Fererro Rochers hahaha!!! xxxxx

  • Emma Ramsell

I’m not ashamed to admit it but my dad got that exact coffee machine and he loves it! Such a great Gift guide !

  • Stacey

I always struggle with what to buy my dad. He pretty much has everything he wants so it’s hard to surprise him. This year my sisters and I have banded together to get him cinema vouchers as he does love going to watch films. I love some of the items you’ve shared in your post.

I always struggle to find something for my dad so will be keeping these ideas for other occasions!

I never know what to get my dad so usually my mum tells me what to get him. This year we did a meal and I got him a nice polo.
