Last month I was contacted by the lovely Marianna from Jewellery Box * offering me the opportunity to review some of their jewellery. Jewellery is something that has been seriously lacking in my wardrobe lately. I can just never find anything I like when I’m in store. Everythings too dramatic, or big, or simply too ‘trendy’ which isn’t what I look for in jewellery. For the most part, I like simple pieces that I can wear for years to come.
I was asked to choose some items that I would like to review, and I was very kindly sent 5 of the items that I had said I liked. Which was unbelievably generous- I was only expecting one or two items. I received two necklaces, 2 rings and 1 pair of earrings.
The first thing I have to point out, is that Jewellery Box send everything in the cutest packaging. They come in a lovely brown box that has a ribbon around it- perfect if you are buying it as a gift for somebody! Also, there is such a selection of products to choose from, and such a great range of prices. The prices start at £3 but if you want something more expensive, there’s items in the £100+ range.
The first item I was sent was these gorgeous Rose-Gold Dipped Sterling Silver and Aquamarine Pull Through Earrings * (£14). I really love these earrings as they aren’t like anything I already owned. These earrings come with different birthstones to correlate to your birthday, hence why I went for the Aquamarine. I haven’t owned a pair of pull-through earrings before, and I’m not going to lie- it took me a few attempts to get these in. But once I got them in I fell in love. (I REALLY tried to get a picture of me wearing these, but I failed miserably.)
I was sent two rings: the Sterling Silver Heart Knot Ring * (£5.25) and the Sterling Silver Interlocked Triple Rings * (£4.25). These are both gorgeous rings that I’ve hardly been able to take off since I got them. Out of the two I think the heart knot ring has to my favourite, but the interlocked ring is gorgeous also. I love that I can wear these with the silver ring that I wear every single day as all of my other rings are gold/rose-gold so I tend to not wear them too much.
The final two items I was sent were the Sterling Silver Infinity Necklace * (£9.65) and the Sterling Silver Triangle Necklace * (£7.15). The thing I love most about these necklaces is how perfectly dainty they are. I don’t mind a statement necklace every now and then, but for day-to-day wear I need a dainty necklace. Since getting these I haven’t went a single day without wearing one of the two necklaces, and I receive so many compliments on them.
If you can’t already tell, I LOVE Jewellery Box and their jewellery. There’s definitely something for every taste and every budget which I think is perfect. I already have a list of things that I have to buy when I’ve got all of my holidays and bills out of the way!
